Some Reading In Between The Olympics; Rob's Thoughts On A Dream I Had

With the Winter Olympics presently on TV...set in Canada, no less (a country I've loved ever since we lived in Toronto during 3 years of the '90s)...I'm not getting much done work-wise in the evenings. But uncommonly lengthy and luxurious lounging on the couch with Chris is taking place as we watch folks fly through the air on skis and snowboards, and skate their way to gold on ice. Last night as we watched the ice dancing finals, Chloe our cat made her way to us from the back of the couch, mountain-lion-style down our shoulders, to my lap, with just a paw on Chris. Chris looked at me; then looked at the ice dancers; then looked at Chloe and said, "I'm watching ice dancing with a cat's paw on me." Let's just say Chris would have never guessed this scenario would have happened to him in a million years.

In between watching all this Olympic glory, there are plenty of commercials. We simply turn off the sound at that point, and sometimes even a bit of reading gets done. Because an interlibrary loan book came in for me from the library, I've put all other reading on hold and have immersed myself in the said library book. It is "Memories of the Afterlife," by Michael Newton, and believe me, it's excellent. I have read two other Michael Newton books, "Journey of Souls," and "Destiny of Souls," but it's been awhile since I read them and I had forgotten just how GOOD Dr. Newton's books are. In fact, I think a reread of those first two books is in order because now I believe I'll get even more out of them.

What makes "Memories of the Afterlife," so good is that past life and life-between-lives regression therapists who are members of the Newton Institute, having been trained by either Dr. Newton or Newton Institute-sanctioned instructors, have written about sessions that they have conducted. Each chapter of the book features a different session and they're all amazing. What's particularly cool for me is that I have had sessions with two different regression therapists who have each written a chapter: Trish Casimira and Tina Zion. Trish also co-edited the book. You can read about the past life session I had with Trish in the past posts: Past Life Regression Part 1, Past Life Regression Part 2, Past Life Regression Part 3, and Past Life Regression Part 4. You can read about the psychic reading I had with Tina in the past post, A Psychic Reading For Me. Both of these regression therapists can do life-between-lives therapy but I've not had the chance to do this yet...someday! In fact, a future goal for me is to get trained as a past life and life-between-lives therapist myself.

Another book that arrived recently, this time via mail as a used book, is "The Law of Attraction ~ The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham," by Esther and Jerry Hicks. I bought this book because it was recommended reading by Tina Zion. But when it came, I distinctly heard, "Chris needs to read this first." I said telepathically, "Chris? Really?" "Yes Chris," is what I heard. Well, it was interesting telling Chris this revelation and I did so carefully and in as non-threatening a way as possible. He said, "OK," and that night began reading. Good sign that he keeps on reading. I can't tell you how the book is yet, but if Chris is any indication, it's at the very least compelling reading.

Not long ago I had the following dream. I wrote it up on Facebook. Friend, Rob, saw what I wrote and commented. Look for his comments in purple italics below. Thank you, dear Rob.

I had one nightmare after another last night. In the last one, I readily took on illnesses, like various cancers, in order to see what I looked like with them. Then I drew a self portrait, so I wouldn't forget how I looked with these diseases. Is it any wonder that Chris woke up with me clinging to him for dear life?!

What I found curious was the self-portrait you drew because you didn't want to "forget" your own face... as if you knew there would come a time you couldn't even recall this particular "you".

This could refer to preparations for the next life, or it could be a memory of another life your unconscious is searching for.

The illnesses just mean decay, the process of "coming apart" or to put it another way, the loss of this recognizable you.

Terror, the nightmare aspect is almost always not knowing how or when we will quit this life or what we will find next... if anything.

We have deep existential "holes" in our worlds where the rational mind cannot trespass, where only our souls, in cryptic dreams, can wander.

Do not fear the darkness, anymore than you fear the warm summer night, or closing your eyes to nap, or mist on mountains.

To not see is to be able to wonder, and to be surprised.

Empath Readings + Testimonials

I am now offering empath readings in addition to my tarot readings. Please note that empath readings are not tarot readings in that I use no cards for the reading. Instead, energy is read from 4 of your chakra areas. This can be done either in person or from a photograph. The energy is the energy so there is no difference in the quality of the reading either way.

If you are interested in getting an empathic reading, please send me a clear photo (digital is preferred by me), of yourself. The photo should have only you in it. You need to be facing the camera head-on, both in face and in body. The pic should show you from the top of your head down to your waist or longer (shorter than your waist is not recommended). Please keep in mind that the reading will be about you at the time the photograph was taken. It's crucial that pic-criteria is followed. Note that a glamorous or highly attractive pic is not needed (Some folks have been apologizing for how they look! Worry not about this.). Quite honestly, I hardly look at the pic with my eyes; it's the energy off your chakras that makes the reading possible. Consider taking the pic yourself in a mirror if no one is around to take one for you...these types of pics work just fine. Send the photo to me at:

Those who have had tarot readings from me know that I do not sugarcoat anything. The reading is the reading is the reading is the reading... this is the same with my empathic readings. With any readings, I have found that what is revealed is often only known fully by the person I'm reading for, not by me. So please don't shoot the channeler. I'll simply relay what I'm given. Additionally, please don't ask a "question" as no question is required from you for an empath reading.

As a channeler, I am a vessel through which the Divine, my Guides, and Angels make the readings possible. What comes from them is never wrong nor incorrect. However, I am a human who could misinterpret what they're trying to say, so do understand that I can be wrong at times. Know that I do my best to listen to them very carefully. It is my belief that no psychic is 100% correct for 100% of the time...75% correct or better is generally considered a good psychic reading.

An empath reading takes me 45 minutes or more from beginning the reading to typing up my written notes and e-mailing them to you. The fixed donation for this type of reading is $50. Payment is accepted in advance of scheduled reading: money order, personal check, or cash. Please e-mail me for my mailing address: I am also now accepting payment via Paypal (see button on sidebar).

The more I am blessed to do this work, the more I am humbled and grateful. I am looking forward to reading for YOU. See below for testimonials:
Beloved Jenny - we really should talk.......

100% dead on - do visit my will reveal me.
I love you I love you......and I've been looking for these words that came through you.
Peace and my humble heart...
What a wonderful gift. Thank you! You really hit the nail on the head with so many things. I think you’ve found a special talent within you and think you could do this type of thing professionally if you wanted to. :) ~ Tierney
Thank you! =) You are very great! Extremely accurate. You have an amazing talent. I have to admit that I am usually very apprehensive about getting readings...I am so glad I did! ~ Robin
Yes, thank you! All I have to say is WOW!!! I can’t believe how accurate you are, that is truly amazing. I am very grateful for your efforts. You’re very talented! ~ Keegan
Thank you so much, Jeannine!! This is truly amazing. The most important part about this reading to me is how dead on the 4th Chakra is . Everything said there was very true. I could go on and on about this reading, but I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate this, and how accurate and helpful it was. You have a wonderful gift, and I'm excited for you to continue growing in it. May peace follow you. ~ Jennifer
OMG Jenny, how can I ever thank you!!! I'd like to
provide a huge basket of validation for your reading.
Every single thing you wrote, and I mean everything,
rang bells and had special meaning for me. There was
not a single moment of 'huh...not sure about that...'.
I cried while reading it through, not because any of
it was sad or hurtful in any way, but because of the
welling up of a tremendous feeling of gratitude. What
a wonderful gift you have, and how wonderful you are
to bless others with it in the way that you do.
I'll write more later to flesh out the validations,
but suffice it to say that you really hit
everything spot on. My love and thanks to
you and to your guides for the myriad blessings!
~ Alfred
I would say that this reading is over 90% correct and says things that I am sure that in general people do not realize about me.
You have a brilliant talent. You touched on all of my main features and contradictions.
Your path is a true one. ~Martha
There wasn't anything really off in the reading, and a lot of things that were right on the mark. (No pun intended there, but puns are okay. :) ) Really quite remarkable. (Oooo...accidentally did it again....) ~ Mark
Many many thanks for the reading. It was on one hand really weird to think that you have never met me - yet - reading through some of the comments you 'd written was as if you'd opened a window and had been watching me for ages and could tell what was going on in my mind! ~ Valerie
I was HIGHLY impressed at the accuracy and detail. I didn't expect it to be quite so in depth. Your ability is clearly AWESOME. I am simply floored by the accuracy and just how much you saw from a single picture. That's quite a powerful gift you have there. Thank you so much for reading me. ~ Rhoda
You really have a gift for this, in fact, it brought me to tears and I'm not sure why. Thank you so much for the time and energy you have given to me. I am so impressed. ~ Janee

I would really like you to know your gift is profound and "real." I thank you deeply for this and hope you continue to use your gift to make this a better place. ~ Felix
HOLY COW. This is me to a tee. You are very talented! This reading was a great help.

This had a great deal of meaning. Thank you :) You are exceptionally talented. ~ Chad
Spot on on all accounts. ~ Essie

Happy Valentine's Day

The Joy of Unselfish Giving
Time is not measured by years that you live.
But by the deeds that you do and the joy that you give
And each day as it comes brings a chance to each one
To love to the fullest leaving nothing undone,
That would brighten the life or lighten the load,
Of some weary traveler, lost on life's road.
So what does it matter how long we may live
If as long as we live we unselfishly give.

~Helen Steiner Rice
Thank you, Ravenstar, for sharing this beautiful poem with perfect for Valentine's Day and always.

Letting Go. Letting God.

My Aunt Loraine used to regularly say, "Let go. Let God." During the last month+ I've been giving free Empath readings to people, most of whom I've never met before. Please see the past post, Reading Offer. These are readings that help me to understand and appreciate my Aunt Loraine's words of advice more than ever. No Tarot cards do I have in front of me to aid in the reading. Just me and Spirit and the pic of those wanting a reading. It's off this pic that their energy is read. Rest assured, such readings done in this way are equal to having the person in front of me. Such readings sometimes make me feel as if I'm standing on the edge of a cliff ready to jump and trusting someone is there to catch me when I do.

I should add here that Tina Zion had predicted in a reading she did for me months ago that I would be doing readings without cards in the near future. She said I could use cards if I wanted them, but wouldn't need them soon. So correct she was!

If I don't trust and let go, I risk the chance of literally getting in my own way, and then the readings can't take place at all. The more I do these readings, the more I can spot when my own conscious mind and ego is trying to take over. This happened recently when I read for my own son, Alexander. It was much harder reading for him than others that I don't know because I had to be on guard to keep myself OUT of the reading at all times. The "Ma" in me likes to try and push through. Thankfully, I was able to stay out of my way successfully. I suggested to Alex, on the advice of friend Jenna, to have him say the reading out loud in order to see that, although the reading is "languaged" through me, it's not my words, nor "of" me. I think the best way I can explain this is that the reading is "channeled" and I'm just the messenger. A grateful messenger, I might add. Doing such readings is incredibly humbling.

'course Aunt Loraine didn't refer to these readings I'm doing when she told me to "Let go. Let God." She would say this to me when she'd hear the "I wants and the it shoulds" come out of my mouth. I want this. I want that. It should go this way. It should go that way. Etc. She'd put on the proverbial brakes and say something akin to "Whoa!" Then she'd ask me just who I thought was in control here? Good Aunt Loraine. I miss her so much.

Let go. Let God. Not easy, but so worth it.

A Forgiveness Prayer

Friend and teacher, Ravenstar, sent me the following simple but profound prayer to say when you're longing to forgive but, for good reasons of your own, wary of forgetting.

Ravenstar wrote: "A way of forgiving another for me, is a simple 5 word sentence.....Thank you for teaching me. This simple sentence not only allows you to forgive someone but also helps you not to forget what happened so that you don't set yourself up to be hurt again. Forgiveness doesn't mean to FORGET the past - just stop investing your energy there. Stay present! Interesting topic!!" Ravenstar adds, "I didn't figure that out myself. I learned it, too.....not sure from who or where.....but it sure helps!"

Interesting topic, indeed. Surely everyone has had to consider whether to forgive or not to forgive someone. And chances are that everyone has heard the old proverb, "forgive and forget." Not forgiving someone always feels terrible to me, especially over time. When I don't forgive it's as if toxic unfinished business stays lodged in my own being; unwanted and intrusive. But none of us wants to be somebody's punching bag either. Letting someone "off the hook" by forgetting what they've done could pose continued problems down the line with that same person. The prayer shared above seems a good, positive solution.

I found a few quotes to ponder:
“Most of us can forgive and forget; we just don't want the other person to forget that we forgave.” ~ Ivern Ball

“Surely it is much more generous to forgive and remember, than to forgive and forget.” ~ Maria Edgeworth

“The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naive forgive and forget; the wise forgive but do not forget.” ~ Thomas S. Szasz

Please check out the past post, Difficult Situations - Difficult Persons, for further prayers that may be helpful to you.

Do YOU have any thoughts on forgiveness? Stories about forgiving and forgetting; or just forgiving; or just forgetting? If so, please share in the comment section. Thank you.
